![]() This league uses “Superflex” where there is an additional flex starter and it can be a second quarterback. Thoughts: With a draft taking place this far from the start of the season, it makes sense to take a shot on Garoppolo-especially with the investment I already have in the Seattle offense, as they’d seem to be a logical landing spot. These are the results from the Huddle Fantasy Football Expert League Draft with 12 teams. Thoughts: Williams is a candidate to stash with an IR designation as he recovers from a torn ACL, but he can pay dividends down the stretch as a potential stack with Jared Goff. Thoughts: Moore should at least be a quality FLEX option to start the season with DeAndre Hopkins suspended, and he can certainly play himself into a substantial role all season if he makes enough of an impact. ![]() Thoughts: Goedert is a home-run value in the double-digit rounds of any format, and the starting lineup-again, without a clear RB1-looks a lot stronger with him at tight end. Seattle’s offense seems to be undervalued in general this summer. ![]() Thoughts: Walker going behind fellow rookie Dameon Pierce is a surprise, but I’ll take it as a strong FLEX option with high-end RB2 potential if Rashaad Penny goes down. Thoughts: Goff and Mac Jones is a strong mix-and-match pairing with Josh Allen, and I’m now set at quarterback with a solid QB2 every week to pair with the overall QB1. And he should again have standalone low-end RB2/FLEX value for 2022. Thoughts: The roster doesn’t have a clear top-12 option at running back, but Dillon would certainly be that if Aaron Jones ever misses time. Entering Year 2, Jones should see an increase in numbers for New England. Thoughts: I have a feeling the quarterbacks could all still be available for my next pick, but it’s not worth the risk of potentially needing to go with someone not guaranteed a starting job like Baker Mayfield or Marcus Mariota as my QB2. Thoughts: A huge quarterback run this round leaves limited options left, but I’m taking a chance that the team between me doesn’t go with another one after doubling up on the previous turnaround. Thoughts: Carr going with the team before me picking back-to-back quarterbacks stings, but I’ll pivot by selecting a high-upside running back (with a solid PPR floor) in Etienne. ![]() Thoughts: I’m hoping for Derek Carr in Round 5 to stack with Davante Adams (which I had in the back of my mind selecting him in Round 2), so hopefully he’s available after getting my RB1 in Conner. Running back might be weak for me, but this is a strong foundation if I can hit there. Thoughts: Diggs was one pick away from being available, and I instead went with Lamb as another potential top-five option at wide receiver. The choice would have been Diggs if it were a best ball league or some other tournament format. Thoughts: I was torn between Adams or getting the stack with Stefon Diggs, but I went with the Silver and Black’s newest target in a full PPR league. Thoughts: Allen gets the slight nod over Christian McCaffrey to give me the guy that’s the favorite the lead the league in fantasy points once again-especially with a long wait until my second-round selection.
